Yamaha motorcycle hits pedestrians at a crossing at Šiaulių and Gedimino streets, Radviliškis
On Saturday, 3 August 2013, in the evening at 19:06, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a Yamaha XV 1100 hit two pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 0-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 23-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Yamaha (4 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
