On Saturday, 30 April 2016, in the evening at 18:18, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 40.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406, a 02111254 and a MTZ 82-1. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot (8 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
