BMW X6 runs off the road on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Saturday, 13 April 2019, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 108), a BMW X6 registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
