Drunk, unlicensed Volvo V70 driver hits a parked BMW in Rudaminos village
On Thursday, 9 September 2021, in the evening at 20:51, in Vilniaus district municipality, Rudaminos village, on Gamyklos street near No. 42, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.72‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
