Opel Astra and Audi crash on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Monday, 30 May 2022, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra Station Wagon and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Opel (49 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
