BMW runs off the road on the Vilnius–Panevėžys road
On Friday, 2 May 2025, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Panevėžio district municipality, Kieliugalos village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
