On Sunday, 25 May 2025, at night at 4:28, in Panevėžio district municipality, Liūdynės village, on Senasis Vilniaus kel., a Porsche 911 Carrera S rolled over. Two people were injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Porsche (hospitalized) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Porsche (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Porsche, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.56‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 15-year-old passenger of the Porsche was drunk (1.02‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
