On Friday, 22 August 2014, in the morning at 7:40, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 20.35), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80, a Scania R 164LA, a Mercedes-Benz 814 and a Meiller. One person died — the 28-year-old driver of the Audi. All drivers were sober.
