Drunk driver's BMW rolls over on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Wednesday, 25 November 2015, in the afternoon at 13:57, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 20.38), a BMW 320 rolled over. One person was injured — the 61-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the BMW (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.88‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
