Opel Vectra and two other cars crash on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Monday, 15 February 2016, in the morning at 6:40, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 20.43), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and two cars. Four people were injured — the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (hospitalized), a 30-year-old passenger of a car (hospitalized), a 23-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized) and the 21-year-old driver of a car (treated as an outpatient). All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
